Drumul egal al fiecarei zile, Bucuresti, 1975 - editia a II-a, 1978; Daruieste-ti o zi de vacanta, Bucuresti, 1979; Dimineata pierduta, Bucuresti, 1983; Vara-primavara, Bucuresti, 1989 The Even Way of Each Day, 1975 - second edition, 1978; Give Yourself a Vacantion Day, 1979; Lost Morning, 1983; Summer-Spring, 1989 Ce se remarca intai in proza Gabrielei Adamesteanu este cruzimea ei realista. (Eugen Simion) What strikes one from the beginning in Gabriela Adamesteanu's prose is her
realistic cruelty. The traditional traits of feminine literature are almost
totally absent from her tough novels and stories, concerned with the dull colors
of everyday life and the chronology of mediocre lives. Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu's
model has been discarded, and the narrative is boldly sustained by a "nasty",
merciless observer of human imperfection.
