Stilistic, poetul are predilectie pentru cuvantul plastic, vascos, cu oscilari de la neologism la la arhaism, dar ceea ce a impus de la inceput era siguranta versului, stapanirea unui limbaj poetic bine caracterizat, ce ingaduia identificarea in Dinu Flamand a unei voci distincte. Vitalismul dionisiac al unor poeme, simtul nedezmintit pentru imaginea plastica, gustul pentru un voluptuos ceremonial al gestului, trecut in vers, lipsa “filosofarii” inutile, dar autentica prezenta a meditatiei si reflectiei marcheaza sigur un discurs liric. Stylistically speaking, the poet has a predilection for the graphic, viscous word that may oscillate between neologism and archaism, but it is the composure of his verse, the well-defined poetic language that has marked Dinu Flamand as a distinctive voice from the very beginning. The Dionysiac vitality of some poems, his steady zest for the pictorial, his penchant for a hedonistic ceremony of gestures transcribed into verse, the absence of futile “philosophizing” together with the genuine presence of meditation and reflection are the definite marks of a lyrical discourse.
